I am a freelance evaluator and researcher for arts, cultural and community organisations. I have a specialism in community music, music education, participatory arts and socially-engaged arts, although my work also includes, theatre, dance, visual arts, heritage and arts in health projects. My clients include small charities, CICs, larger venue-based arts organisations, youth organisations who provide participatory arts opportunities, Music Education Hubs, local authority arts and events teams, in addition to multi-partner consortia working together on larger-scale regional projects.
My work focuses on helping organisations to improve what they do by supporting meaningful evaluation processes and developing a better understanding of what people value about their work.
